How we rank prop firms
The score next to every firm is computed, not negotiated. Here is exactly how.

The community score
Every firm's dial (0–100) blends three signals, weighted so that no single one can be gamed:
- Trader ratings (up to 100 points) — the star ratings left by registered users, combined with a Bayesian average: every firm starts from a prior of 3.8 stars with the weight of 5 phantom reviews. A firm with one 5-star review therefore cannot outrank a firm holding 4.7 stars across two hundred reviews — the ranking rewards sustained satisfaction, not a lucky first impression.
- Community likes (up to 5 points) — a lightweight signal of goodwill, capped so brigading is pointless.
- Editorial score (up to 5 points) — our own testing: payout requests we actually made, support tickets we actually opened, rules we actually read. It acts as a tiebreaker, never a headline.
What we never do
- No firm can pay to move up the ranking. Ever.
- Affiliate partnerships (disclosed in the footer) fund the site but sit entirely outside the scoring pipeline — the formula above has no "commercial" input.
- Sponsored placements are labelled. Our featured pick is marked Top pick directly in the table.
Where reviews come from
Only registered accounts can rate a firm, one review per trader per firm, with rate limits and moderation for spam. Ratings feed the score immediately; that's why the TOP 3 boxes on the homepageshift as the community's experience shifts.
